- Our “Looking at the world through other people’s eyes” program focuses on creating positive multicultural workplaces where managers, employees and peers have a better appreciation of each other’s expectations, needs and belief systems.
Our latest program has involved Papua New Guinean Engineers and Trades people and their managers to improve their ability to work together towards a common organizational goal. The program also provided support and guidance, so to enable them to be more productive and resourceful within their new community.
Through the process of our program, it is evident how beneficial an alignment in values and communication can be within a multicultural environment and it has been extremely gratifying to see the level of confidence and effectiveness increase within our group of participants. Their success has created a domino effect where other members of the community are now seeking to join the program, so to achieve a similar level of success within their lives.
- The Indigenous recruitment and work preparedness program is designed to transition candidates from traditional non industrial backgrounds to become prepared for and resourced to undertake productive roles within today’s modern workplace environment.
Based on a holistic community approach, our program not only focuses on the vast array of cultural and historical value systems that are sometimes at variance to modern industrial expectations, we work with communities and industry to develop a mutual respect, active partnership and long-term commitment for all.
